- All Urban Wood bookcase are made to order. If you require a custom size please reach out for a quote.
- Lead time is 7-8 weeks from time of order.
- All antique, clear, walnut, espresso and oil finish options are nicely sanded and finished with a commercial grade clear topcoat.
- Natural / unfinished distressed wood bookcase are nicely sanded and can be left as such or ready for your own stain or finish option. Natural option does not come with a protective clear coat. We include a jar of Swilley's Beeswax Wood Conditioner with all natural options as a rub on option for enhanced color and grain patterns and some protection against liquids.
- All steel shelf supports some finished in our Standard gunmetal gray paint. If you prefer the more industrial look of weld marks and raw steel finish with a clear coat please inquire.
- Bookcases ship disassembled via a freight carrier.
- Please view shelf spec drawings included in product images for each size.
- It is Recommended that 2 people to assist with the set up of the shelves.
- All holes come pre-drilled for ease of assembly. All shelves include hardware and leveling feet. All that is required for set up is a cordless or electric screw gun/driver.
- This bookcase design is sized for 9 ft ceilings or greater. If you have shorter 8 ft ceilings please contact us and we offer a slightly shorter top mounting bracket at 86" overall height.
- It is recommended that shelves be mounted into the studs or that dry-wall anchors be used.
- Bookcases are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

- WHITE GLOVE SERVICE is no longer available. For free and standard freight delivery, the driver will lower the crate off the truck and ask for a signature. Orders exceeding 96" in any dimension are subject to additional freight charges. No other assistance will be provided with standard delivery. Often pieces will exceed 100 pounds and require multiple people to carry and set up. If you require assistance please consider arranging and outsourcing additional local labor on-site or going through a local moving company to arrange. You will incur additional shipping charges if the delivery renders cannot be met.
- All orders shipping via a Freight carrier will receive a call 24-48 hours in advance from the freight carrier. Please not that UPS (smaller items) will not. See shipping policy link below for more info.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Wipe Dust with slightly damp lint free cloth. Clean food and liquid spills promptly. It is advisable to use coasters, placemats and trivets. Use protective pads under hot dishes. Cover the bottoms of all table legs with felt pads.
Do not use furniture polish or products that contain petroleum, alcohol, ammonia, or silicone.
Wood will expand and contract with seasonal humidity changes. Do not expose wood to extreme changes in humidity. Maintain consistent humidity levels of 40-60 % to minimize movement in the wood and prevent warping. Do not place wood in direct sunlight. Over time, air and sunlight will change the color of natural wood. Occasionally rotate the items placed on your wood furniture to allow a more uniform color to develop.
Our Swilley's Wood conditioner is only intended to be applied over unfinished wood surfaces. Outdoor tables, should be covered when not in use as direct sunlight and other weather can be very damaging.

WARRANTY
All furniture made by Urban Wood Goods has a 5 year limited warranty. We will repair or replace (at our option) any faulty product deemed to have been caused by manufacturing defects. Reclaimed, dimensional planks of lumber have inherent inconsistencies, natural defects and irregularities that are part of their unique nature. These are considered to be desired effects. Solid wood adjusts different times of the year to the moisture content of the air. In a sense the wood breathes. Wood will also adjust to the moisture content of your of space and its surroundings. You may notice your slab wood furniture piece move slightly and develop small cracks or dips. This is normal. Slab furniture cannot be compared to other solid wood furniture pieces. This product will have movement during its life and this is just the nature of natural wood slab furniture.
